What the settings mean

Country / EU / USA / World

Choose the electricity denominator used for the scenario. EU27, member countries, U.S. national/state records and World are source-candidate review values, not promoted runtime data.

Power draw

Watts are the average electrical load assigned to one configured AI-worker profile while it is running. It is not model intelligence, job output, or necessarily one physical machine.

Runtime

Runtime is how many hours per week the configured profile is assumed to run. A 24/7 profile uses 168 hours per week.

Infrastructure overhead

Overhead adds simplified facility and support energy on top of the raw watt setting. It keeps compute and infrastructure from being silently collapsed into one number.

Electricity share

The budget step allocates a selected share of the chosen annual electricity denominator to the scenario. Above 100% becomes a thought experiment, not a real allocation.

Profile target

The target side asks how much yearly energy a chosen number of configured profiles would require, then compares that requirement with the selected denominator.

Report and PDF

The report repeats the calculation basis, source status and truth boundary. The PDF is a portable scenario receipt, not a publication-grade data certificate.

The output is an energy-equivalent scenario. It does not claim spare electricity, available grid capacity, deployed AI-workers, productivity, job loss or social feasibility.
