Human Baseline Population and Energy
Choose a population and kcal per person, then inspect total dietary energy per day, average month and year.
The first Human Baseline layer starts with the scale of the question: population multiplied by one user-chosen kcal figure. Choose an EU27 country, compare countries, select EU27 or enter a custom headcount.
The fixed Eurostat population capture is dated 1 January 2025. English, Danish, Spanish and German are available. Exported scenario JSON can be used in the separate food-quantities layer.
An energy-volume scenario, not a dietary recommendation, measured individual need or proof of food production and delivery. The same chosen kcal value applies to everyone; no hidden buffer or maternal allowance is added.
